Position: Accounting Technician

Our client located in Lasalle is looking for an Accounting Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and have an advanced level of French with an intermediate to advanced level of Excel.

Responsibilities
-Daily, record invoices from suppliers of corporate activities;
On a bi-monthly basis, execute payment to suppliers of corporate activities;
-Monthly, record expenses incurred in the process of closing the books;
-Monthly, compile professional fees, including external auditors' fees, describing their nature in order to assist the accounting and tax teams;
-Monthly, prepare various reports for the monthly closing;
-Monthly, prepare various reports for the monthly closing; Monthly, prepare commodity tax claims;
-Monthly, follow up on various bank and interest charges;
-Weekly, prepare cash flow predictions for the coming weeks for the head office;
-Contribute to the development and deployment of the Finance team's various projects;
-All other related tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
-Bachelor's degree (an asset) or minimum of college education in accounting
- Canadian experience in accounting (an asset)
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with system implementation is an asset!
