Location: Laval, QC
Salary $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience + benefits

Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Technician will be part of the Finance team and will play a key role in performing a multitude of tasks related to the complete accounting cycle.

Responsibilities
Complete and record GST/QST returns;
Carry out bank reconciliations for group entities and record activity on loans;
Follow-up and process accounts payable (including employee expense accounts);
Actively participate in the month-end process (update schedules, record adjusting entries, reconcile balances of certain inter-company accounts, etc.);
Analyze general ledger accounts in relation to suppliers and loans
Participate in various financial analyses;
Participate in the preparation of year-end files;
Assist the controller and management with all other related tasks.
Qualifications
- DEP/ AEC / DEC in accounting or equivalent experience required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, intermediate level)
- Multidevices ( great asset )
- Intercompany ( great asset )
