Responsibilities
- Participate in the payroll process (external payroll supplier, data review, group insurance processing, compliance with standards, accounting entry, bank follow-up
banks, etc.)
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations (CAD & USD)
- Account for, classify and track accounts payable
- Account for and follow up on prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued expenses, etc,
- Account for inventory movements and stock production
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Monitor customer credit limits and collections, and prepare statements of account.
- Create new customers and suppliers in accounting software
- Ensure communication with customers and suppliers
- Assist in issuing payments to suppliers (cheques and transfers)
- Assist the Controller in achieving accounting department objectives
- Participate in the annual audit file
- All other administrative tasks related to accounting and human resources functions
Qualifications
Functional in English and French
Minimum of 3 years of experience
