Responsibilities
-Review, process and verify invoices and check requests submitted via Payscan.
-Ensure that the necessary documentation is attached
-Prepare and execute cheque runs
-Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current
-Research and resolve discrepancies and problems with invoices.
-Maintain vendor files
-Communicate with vendors and respond to inquiries
Assist with month-end closing
-Work effectively in a team environment
-Meet deadlines as required
-Provide supporting documentation for audits
Qualifications
Degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting with 1-2 years of experience.
Strong Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is an asset).
Experience with Yardi is an asset
Familiarity with accounting in the real estate industry.
