Are you an Accounts Payable professional and open to new opportunities in York Region? Are you organized, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment? Do you have experience with processing expense reports and do you understand the proper tax coding?

Our client, located in Vaughan, is seeking a career Accounts Payable professional for an exciting permanent AP Analyst opportunity!

Reporting to the Controller, duties, and Responsibilities include:

• Entering a high volume of invoices (approx 1200 monthly)
• Matching invoices with the receipt of goods and solving discrepancies
• Enter expenses, ensure GL accuracy and appropriate approvals
• Meeting the discount deadline of vendors and payment according to vendor terms
• Review supplier statements monthly and address past due items
• Maintain vendor master file
• Prepare and perform cheque runs
• Filing and other ad-hoc duties
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships

Qualifications
• Completion of a post-secondary school diploma or certificate or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
• Detail oriented and attention to accuracy is essential
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and excellent account management skills
• Proficient in using MS Office;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
