Our client is a leading distributor of premium petroleum and other materials in Canada. They are looking to add an Accounts Payable & Loans Administrator to their team. this role will sit within the Finance department, and play a pivotal role in managing various financial aspects of the organization. Reporting to both the Supervisor of Accounting Systems and the Manager of Accounts Receivable/Payable, the role involves the analysis, recommendation, and processing of loan applications for Canadian customers. Additionally, this role involves handling invoices and cash carefully in a centralized Accounts Payable setting.
This position provides excellent health and dental benefits and is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement, comprising three days on-site and two days working from home.

Responsibilities
-Administer trade programs and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
-Analyze and process loan applications, ensuring compliance and senior management approval when necessary.
-Monitor and manage loans, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports.
-Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate payments.
-Prepare and disburse cheques, maintain proper records, and address payment discrepancies.
-Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
-Exceptional math and analytical abilities with acute attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in work.
-Proven capability to multitask and consistently deliver quality work under time constraints.
-Flexible and capable of making independent decisions promptly when needed.
-Superior written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex ideas clearly.
-Post Secondary Education in Business or a related field.
-Brings a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
-Possesses knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
