We are currently seeking an AP Clerk to join this remarkable team. As an AP Clerk, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to accounts payable processing and vendor management. Your primary focus will be ensuring the timely and accurate handling of invoices, purchase orders, payments, and other associated documents. Additionally, you will provide support in general administrative duties while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
We are looking for a friendly and communicative individual with an inquisitive nature and exceptional attention to detail. Please note that this is a full onsite position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm working hours.

Responsibilities
•Set up new suppliers, complete credit applications, and resolve purchase order issues.
•Batch invoices, create remittances, and post payments for 100-125 suppliers twice a month. Email remittances to suppliers and process wire payments when needed. Print cheques for suppliers, not on electronic funds transfer (EFT).
•File and organize accounts payable documents.
•Verify monthly statements and deposit customer cheques using Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).
•Assist with incoming calls during busy or unavailable reception times.
•Take on other ap/ar duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Meticulous attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
• PC proficiency and adept at using Excel
• Excellent command of the English language
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a high level of dedication
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in AP
