Responsibilities
In this Accounts Payable Clerk role in Vancouver, your responsibilities will include:
entering invoices, using the online accounting/purchasing system (Banner)
providing information to individuals through various means of communication: e-mail, phone, written and in person
tracing origins of invoices without purchase orders and obtaining authorization
interpreting and applying information on departmental procedures and Institute policies
ensuring that all transactions are coded to correct fund, organization and account
Qualifications
Experience
Two years’ general office experience, plus up to one year of current, direct experience in a similar position in a finance department.
Previous experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
