    Our client in the Montréal area is looking an accounts payable supervisor. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for performing accounts payable, accounts receivable and expense functions. Working closely with the CFO-Canada and the Payroll Supervisor, this role will perform various administrative, accounting and payroll functions

    Responsibilities
    Accounts Payable:

    - Support the entire accounts payable and accounts receivable management process.
    - Supervise the creation and management of master data related to vendors and customers.
    - Associate invoices, receipt and PO
    - Enter invoices into the accounting system
    - Issue checks or payment documents
    - Send payments to suppliers
    - Do the filing
    - Prepare year-end and year-end payable files as required
    - Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.
    - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
    - Participate in the month-end and year-end process.
    - Participate in the preparation of documentation required for various audits.
    - Produce various reports and analyses related to accounts payable and receivable.
    - Develop and implement new processes and ensure the proper implementation of internal controls

    Payroll:

    - Associate invoices, receipt and PO
    - Enter invoices into the accounting system
    - Issue checks or payment documents
    - Send payments to suppliers
    - Filing
    - Prepare year-end and year-end payable files as needed


    Qualifications
    - College or university degree in Accounting or Finance.
    - 3-7 years of experience in payables
    - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    - Knowledge of accounting systems (D 365 an asset).
    - Bilingual: French and English.
    - Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
