The Accounts Payable Technician participates in the monthly accounting closing process by entering invoices, recording credit card expenses, performing certain reports and supporting the accounting team at month end. Responsibilities
Prepare, verify, reconcile and record monthly credit card expense reports;
Reconcile carriers' accounts payable and ensure proper recording of invoices;
Prepare payments by check and bank transfer;
Prepare credit notes to customers for monthly, quarterly and annual volume discounts and marketing promotions;
Record and coordinate utility and telecommunications expenses;
Issue monthly financial invoices (assembly activities, interco, chargebacks, payroll and taxes);
Perform various extractions and month-end reports;
Provide support to the Accounting and Accounts Payable team;
All other related tasks.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in the accounting field
Your mastery of Excel software
Knowledge of SAP is an asset
Good sense of initiative
Collaborative spirit
Bilingualism is required. The department in Montreal will be more of a French environment, but work is done in both languages.
