Responsibilities
Receiving and verifying invoices, coding and entering them into the accounting system, and ensuring accuracy of information.
Maintaining vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and payment history.
Preparing and processing payments, such as checks, electronic payments, and wire transfers, and ensuring timely payment to vendors.
Reconciling vendor statements to ensure accurate payment records and resolving any discrepancies.
Generating reports on accounts payable activities, such as outstanding payments and aging reports.
Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and other financial records.
Communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, answer inquiries, and provide information.
Qualifications
DEC/AEC in Accounting with relevant experience
2-3 years of experience
Bilingual (an asset)
