    We are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk position for a growing company in the finance Industry in Markham, Ontario region. The role is a hybrid position with one day in a week onsite. Are you organized, time-bound, and result oriented? Are you comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and in the process of complimenting the company’s growth?

    Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk
    Location: Markham, ON
    Type of Position: Temporary (1 Year)

    Responsibilities
    In this Accounts Receivable position in Markham you would have the following responsibilities:

    •Enter, post, and reconcile batches,
    •Research and resolve customer A/R issues,
    •Prepare aging reports
    •Maintain cash receipts journal
    •Update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.
    •Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
    •Respond to requests for information from vendors and various other stakeholders
    •Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed
    •Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with guidelines
    •Reconcile bank accounts, recording and balancing financial information in a variety of ledgers
    •Verify the correctness of documents and codes


    Qualifications
    In this Accounts Receivable position in Markham you would have the following qualifications:

    •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    •Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable Experience
