Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day AR and Accounting functions
- Overseeing Invoicing and collections
- Training and mentoring an AR team of 3-4 people
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Ensuring completion of bank reconciliations
- Resolving and addressing AR-related issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience is required
- Previous industry experience with knowledge of full-cycle accounting functions
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Great computer skills (MS Office, Excel, and Sage 300)
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to travel (within Canada)
