We are looking for a passionate, dynamic individual to join one of Toronto’s market leading Media Groups. Located in this modern North York office, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a finance team of 8 at an exciting time of rapid growth.

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist your duties will be:

• Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills and invoices in a timely manner
• Resolving discrepancies between invoiced, paid and outstanding amounts due
• Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as
EFT/ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
• Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems
• Provide assistance/backup support as required to others in the Finance Department and within the local
Toronto office as required.
• Perform related administrative duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems.


$45K - $50K
10% yearly bonus
3 Week’s vacation
Full Benefits


Degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficient use in Excel
2+ years experience in Accounts Receivable
Knowledge of accounting or ERP data base
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
