One of our clients specializing in tools in woodworking and gardening is looking to fill positions for Manual Operators to start ASAP.This is a 2 month contract with a possibility of extension. Hourly rate is at 16.50/hr at a 40 hour work weekShift – This project is operational 24/7. The chosen candidate must be open to working days, evening and nights, weekdays and WEEKENDS (Sundays included)Shift is from 7am - 7pmLocation: Near the Ikea, The location is bus accessible depending on the time of shiftADVANTAGESOpportunity for permanency and advancementFull time hoursFree parking Bus accesibleRESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:• Remove sharp edges and/or burrs, that result from the machining process, from a variety of manufactured products• Examination of surfaces in order to find defects• Manually polish metal surfaces to the required specification• Visually examine and evaluate the output of the process• Complete required production documents• Follow COVID 19 precautions• Maintaining a clean and orderly work areaQUALIFICATIONS-Must have general labour experience.
