The Administrative Officer is essential to the management of the warehouse operations.
Salary: 24.07$/hr
Schedule : Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities

- Greet truckers and coordinate door assignments;
- Make appointments (domestic, contractors, containers);
- Coordinate the movement of containers in the yard;
- Manage the reception of containers (full and empty);
- Extract certain data and reports for all warehouses (productivity, lost time, products received per trip, machine performance, etc.);
- Prepare inspection documents (sprinklers, buildings, machines);
- Print new worker cards, delivery slips and file them;
- Prepare transfer documents (distribution center, warehouses, etc.);
- Check first aid kit and order supplies;
- Prepare progress tracking sheet;
- Assemble warehouse labels;
- Validate work hours entered;
- Manage product related requests (labels, information and adjustment in SAP, etc.);
- Replace administrative agents in other warehouses as needed.
Qualifications
Expected qualifications of the administrative agent:
- DEC in a relevant field or equivalent;
- At least 6 months experience in an administrative position, ideally in a warehouse environment;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure;
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good analytical, planning and work organization skills;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
- Bilingualism (French and English).
