Our client, a leading consoulting firm, at their office in DT Vancouver is looking for an Administrative Assistant. You will work full-time hours and earn up to $25.58 per on a 12-month contract (with high possibility of extension or perm), and be responsible for the following:
· Work with client teams to prepare meeting materials for both internal and external meetings
· Edit and create documents using advanced technical skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint while ensuring all documents produced adhere to Mercer's global identity/document standards
· Professional client service communication – emailing of reports, meeting scheduling, in-house needs when clients visit
· Maintenance of internal databases – manager search list and admin client database primarily
· Handle monthly client invoicing (using Mercer’s proprietary system), including project code set-up/ management
· Maintain client and internal files, both hard and soft copy
· Researching and scheduling travel arrangements, with availability to troubleshoot and adjust itineraries when Principals are traveling
· Tracking, compiling and submitting expense reports for Principals on a monthly basis and in a timely manner
· Maintaining Executive’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings internally, reviewing for client meeting availability, and proactively identifying potential conflicts in advance to help solve them
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Qualifications· 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in a consulting environment or professional service industry. 5 or more years’ administrative experience preferred
· Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
· High level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
· Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
· Self-starter and able to multi-task and work within a fast paced environment
· Strong client servicing skills; ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
· Collaborative/ Team player
· Flexibility to work past normal hours on rare occasion
· Strong organizational and time management skills
