This position could be for you!
We are seeking a candidate in the Guelph location to join a team as the Administrative Assistant. This would be a direct hire with the client for a maternity leave coverage.

In this role you would be responsible for:
- Providing customer service (20% of the time) which includes: incoming sales, order inputting, releasing to production and follow through to ensure delivery
- Productions scheduling/liaison with all departments to ensure product is released
- Managing inventory of assets and supplies
- Sourcing for suppliers (vendors) for regular purchased items and submitting invoices
- Acting as the main liaison between departments and resolving day-to-day administrative and operational objectives
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities
- Sending out and receiving mail and packages
- Preparing business correspondence, agendas, and presentations, typically using(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Sending faxes and emails, Managing documents and files
- Sending and receiving documents for the company
- Answering of the phones and greeting any clients

- Direct contract hire with the client
- Guelph location (on a bus route)
- Monday - Friday (core hours 8am - 4pm)

What do you need to have?
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Office Administration or Receptionist position
- Working experience within a manufacturing setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be coordinating tasks with many different departments
- Proven to be highly organized, ability to prioritize and a great multi tasker
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel/Word) and Quickbooks or a similar accounting software
