We are working with a growing organization within the financial sector. This company is looking for an eager individual to join their team as an Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will showcase outstanding customer service, have experience with data entry, will thrives in fast paced environments and have a keen attention to detail. Prior experience in insurance would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
- The timely and accurate submission of insurance applications
- Responsible for entry of a large number of applications daily
- Ensure that all applications and policies are coded to the correct broker
- First review of application to ensure that the application is completed fully and note any missing information
- Ensure scanned documents are attached correctly within database
- Manage issued policies, verifying the client information, plan and premium coverage against the issued policy
- Updating and maintaining the insurance database with additions or changes to client information, client plans or policies
- Reception coverage as required
- Supporting mail room functions, including and outgoing mail/couriers
- Responsible for sending out forms and applications as requested by staff and brokers
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience within administrative or customer service role
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral)
- Must be organized and have great attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience within a construction industry is nice to have
- Excellent time management
