A development company located near Namur / de la Savane metro (Montreal) is looking an administrative assistant/ project coordinator. You will be reporting to the Project Director and working under the supervision of the project manager. This company in question has been around since the 1950's and is a well-known reputable company that develops new homes.

The proposed salary is between $53, 000 - $57, 000 a year, schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, 4 weeks vacation, benefits after 3 months, parking on site and available by public transport.

Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative correspondence relating to managing a construction project
- Monitor contract / subcontract and ensure it is forwarded to the various stakeholders
- Issue the applicable contracts and confirm bill of materials
- Prepare purchase orders, obtain approval and disseminate them
- Maintain the issuance and revision of plans and specs up to date
- Make sure all the revisions are distributed to the various people involved
- Support in the preparation of site wrap-up documents
- Manage/ update project management directory
- Filing documents and correspondence in our client files (plans, quotations, contracts)

Qualifications
- DEP / DEC in administration or secretariat or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of the construction industry considered an asset;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to exercise flexibility (upon closing bids), and rigor
- Ability to work well with others under deadlines and react to changing priorities
- Autonomous and with developed initiative
- Dynamic, smiling, discreet and punctual
- Great adaptability and flexibility
