Our client, an organization working in the field of health for seniors, is looking to hire an administrative assistant for their downtown Montreal office.
Advantages
- 37.5 hours per week (at work) ;
- 3 weeks of vacations;
- Insurance (after 3 months) ;
- RRSP (after 3 months);
- Stable and human team;
- Salary between 40k$ and 50k$ (depending on experience);
Responsibilities
Reception
- Taking phone calls;
- Greeting visitors;
- Maintain the integrity of the database;
- Resolve certain member issues, call or email, in order to improve membership retention;
Administrative support
- Assist the Director of Operations in her daily tasks;
- Ensure the filing and archiving of files;
- Write, type and format various types of documents;
- Carry out all other tasks related to administration;
Events
- Work with the communications/event team to support email and postal mailings;
- Manage management and administrative activities related to the organization's activities;
Accounting
- Basic accounting tasks (expense accounts, data entry, etc.);
Qualifications
Education:
- DEP-DEC in office automation techniques or AEC in administration or DEP in secretarial work or University degree in management, administration or in one of the health
in one of the disciplines of the health field (an asset);
Experience related to the job :
- 2 years minimum experience in secretarial/reception;
- Experience in database management (an asset);
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable software (an asset);
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Bilingual (French and English); Proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Teams);
- Techno friendly;
- Knowledge of the use of some CRM (an asset);
People skills:
- Proactive;
- Dynamic;
- Creative;
- Autonomous;
- Open to learning;
- Team player;
- Versatility;
