We're looking for an Administrative Assistant with Junior level Executive Assistant duties as well, to join the dynamic Partnerships team of a an academic/educational not-for-profit organization, on a contract-to-hire basis. This role starts as a 1 month contract, but ideally progresses into further extension, or a permanent role, pending candidate performance, which would include a competitive yearly salary, paid vacation, comprehensive benefits.

What YOU would be doing as an Administrative Assistant

- Scheduling, coordinating, and organizing meetings and planning sessions.
- Coordinating travel bookings and arrangements for the management team.
- Supporting the HR team with a variety of admin tasks including interview bookings, webinar set-ups, etc.
- Creating briefing materials and presentations for external meetings and taking minutes during meetings.
- Assisting with the preparation, compiling, formatting, and submission of reports and proposals.
- Liaising with partners and clients, traveling to partnering locations at times.
- Receptionist/office administrative duties including intake of incoming calls, handling outgoing communications; opening and distributing mail, sending and receiving courier packages, ordering office supplies, managing meeting rooms, etc.

What do YOU bring to the table?

- 2-3 years of administrative experience in a dynamic role, preferably in an Academic/Educational/Non-profit/Research/Policy/Legal environment.
- Tech savvy, proficient working with computers and general proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, organized and punctual.
- Ability to multitask, strong organization and time management skill and being able to work under pressure.
- Post-secondary education.
- Bilingual in French an asset.
