    Our client, a major communications firm, is looking to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant for their downtown Montreal office.

    What the company will offer you
    - 37.5 hours / week ;
    - 3 weeks of vacation (after 1 year + one week between Christmas and New Year's Day);

    - RRSP (after 3 months);
    - Hybrid remote work;

    - Salary range between 50k/year and 55k/year (depending on experience);

    Responsibilities
    Work related to the management of the legal department
    - Prepared, formatted, transcribed and edited various contracts and legal documents for the department's lawyers, such as commercial agreements, agreements for business acquisitions and sales, public documents and formal notices;
    - Preparation, assembly and maintenance of binders of important contracts and confidentiality agreements;
    - Drafting, formatting, transcribing and editing of correspondence (letters, emails, etc.);
    - Managing the filing system and computerized filing and printing of files;
    - Follow-up on files and deadlines;

    Other administrative tasks
    - Support to paralegals;
    - Liaison with operations for document review requests by the legal department;
    - Filing, scanning, photocopying and mail management;
    - Perform all other related tasks;

    Qualifications
    - DEC in legal secretarial or other related field or relevant experience;
    - Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken);
    - Analytical ability, thoroughness and attention to detail;
    - Minimum 2 years in a law firm or litigation or administrative field;
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and ''Styles'' (essential);
    - Knowledge of Microsoft Visio (an asset);
    - Understanding of the meaning of legal procedures (an asset);
    - Ability to work in a team and alone;
    - Ability to work under pressure;
    - Ability to work under pressure; Sense of organization and priorities, thoroughness and attention to detail;
    - Great discretion;
    - Resourcefulness, versatility and flexibility;
