Responsibilities
Helping customers through all channels (walk-in, over the phone, and email requests)
that are in the process of choosing and ordering products we offer
• Complete form/order form with all necessary information for production and
purchaser
• Ensure special orders are processed
• Continuously learning about the products, we offer
• Following the process to book in-house Stair & Railing consultations
• Keep showroom, front desk, and warehouse 1 clean and organized (regularly putting
stock away, making sure floors are swept and clear of any debris)
• Communicate with the purchaser of low-stock items
• Respectful of your own workspace and all other employees
• Preparing orders that are complete and have them in designated areas for pick up
• Each morning – gather the “completed order list” from the production
• Follow up/Call customers re: orders are ready for pick up, update customers on any
backorder/delay
• Answering phone and replying to email requests – must be responded to by the end of the day
(within 24 hours).
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work well under pressure, going into the plant must have safety shoes
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all
times
• Computer literate, including effective working skills in MS Word, Excel, and e-mail
• Proven data entry and typing skills
