Responsibilities
- Inspections of all aircraft equipment with the collaboration of another technician;
- Proceed with the maintenance required in the manuals;
- Read, understand and follow processes/procedures, maintaining a maximum of quality workmanship;
- Repair inflatable equipment for aircraft: such as life rafts, escape slides and life jackets. This includes, rigging a unit (attaching various parts such as locator lights and cylinder), tie various knots, deflate unit, press unit and fold following a specific procedure.
Qualifications
- Mechanical background
- Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions set out in technical manuals (in English) and follow work instructions.
- Being mechanically inclined and having a familiarity with tools an asset.
- Training will be provided.
- Have a good understanding in aircraft equipments.
