reporting? If so, one of my clients located in financial district of Downtown Toronto is looking to add a
Senior Financial Analyst to their team for a 12-month contract.


Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is accountable for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timely manner
of financial information and also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of
Global account reconciliations. This role reports to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, analyze and summarize monthly and quarterly financial statements for all entities
- Assist in preparing annual and quarterly financial statements including full note disclosures
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting package for management
- Prepare regulatory financial reports
- Effectively prepare and analyze all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations
- Prepare Financial Reporting, Modeling, and Planning
- IPO experience is an asset
- Assist preparation and analysis of goodwill and impairment analysis
- Maintain complete, accurate and current financial records
- Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends to evaluate opportunities, risks, and new investments

Requirements:

- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years of financial reporting, corporate finance, and capital market experience 
- Problem-solver with sound judgment who takes initiative; accepts ownership
- Self-starter, flexible with a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management and critical thinking skills
- Articulate individual who can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling skills for various valuation techniques
