Job Title: Analyst, Specialized Portfolio Accounting
Location: Montreal downtown (Square-Victoria metro)
Salary: $56K-$58K/year
Duration: 14 months

Role summary
Participate in the production and analysis of financial information for specialized investment portfolios. Reporting to the Manager, Specialty Portfolio Accounting, the incumbent plays a key role in the analysis of the files he/she supports.

Main Responsibilities
•Prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements for all specialty funds and portfolios;
•Analyze financial information in order to produce analysis reports and summaries;
•Analyze financial transactions to ensure the quality of financial information by confirming that the accounting of said transactions was done appropriately according to their nature;
•Participate in the preparation of financial information for the company's Annual Report;
•Participate in initiatives to streamline and optimize processes;
•Take part in various testing initiatives in the context of a major system conversion affecting several divisions of the company.

•CPA designation (obtained or in progress);
•Undergraduate university degree in Accounting;
•2 years of relevant experience in accounting (ideally in the investment or banking industry);
•Good knowledge of IFRS;
•Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel);
•Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
