Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Treasury Operations, you will act as a member of the Liquidity Management team, which is responsible for the overall management of liquidity, payments, reconciliation of bank and G/L accounts and hedging foreign exchange contracts.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the daily and month-end cash management processes.
- Deal with various banking problems including those of other services
- Process the various SOX and year-end audit requests (internal and external).
- Understand and account for hedging contracts and prepare financial reports for management.
- Assist the manager in processing ad hoc requests (proposed mergers and acquisitions, etc.).
- Participate in projects related to banking systems
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within a treasury environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel is an asset.
- Bilingual, French and English both written and spoken.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to work well under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
