We have work just for you! Are you an experienced technician? We have an Anti Reflective Technician role available in the Mississauga area near Laird/ Collegeway. This role is with a leader in the Optical Industry industry. If this sounds like the ideal role for you, please give us a call now to discuss this team lead role in more detail.

Needs to be flexible to switch monthly rotations : 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am

Pay : $18/hr - $20/hr

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strives to improve technical knowledge through the communication with manufacturers other facility supervisors
and continually applies that knowledge in the production of all eyewear.
• Performs multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and thoroughness despite time pressures and facility
• Utilizes product knowledge to determine the best manufacturing process for both routine and special orders to
• Is attentive to detail with all measurements, calculations, equipment settings and defective product.
• Takes the initiative to notice and follow-up on discrepancies (in your own and other departments
• Responsible for the basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment by
ensuring adherence to established; maintenance procedures and calendars.
• Other duties as assigned

• Diploma, Certificate, Bachelor or equivalent in Physics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Thorough technical knowledge of lab processes, equipment and maintenance
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong communicator and listener
• Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Knowledge of optical theory
• Problem solving ability
• Organization skills
