Responsibilities
-Handling the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process
-Acquiring approval for vendor invoices, post vendor charges and payments, reconciling vendor accounts, tracking and investigating variances
-Running payment runs
-Co-ordination with internal teams as well as vendors
-Post customer payments (cheques, wires, cc payments)
-Work with sales team
-Monitor A/R aging reports and work closely with the CFO providing updates and reports
-Reconciling customer accounts and provide monthly statements
-Monitor collections calls and procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or 2 years of life cycle Accounts Payable and Receivables experience.
-Excellent communication skills both written and oral
-Self Starter with demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems
-Ability to understand and follow processes
-Well organized with exceptional attention to detail
-Familiarity in MS Office products
-Posess the drive to be a team player and hold yourself accountable.
-Ability to work individually and in a team setting
-High level of business maturity, willingness to learn & ability to speak with senior level executives
