Are you an Application/Technical Support Analyst experienced in managing multiple and competing priorities while prioritizing a high volume of user correspondence? Our North Vancouver client is seeking to hire an Application Support Analyst, on a long term contract with a high possibility of extension. What you’ll be doing?
As an Application Support analyst with our North Vancouver client, you will:
• Provide outstanding support to the users of IS systems.
• Deliver clear communication and customer service to IS systems users through the entire life cycle of an issue.
• Reproduce issues, and use your knowledge of impact to prioritize them.
• Provide analysis on reported issues such as business impact.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Act as a liaison for on site developers, business, technical teams, subject matter experts and third party vendors.
• Write internal knowledgebase articles and other documentation.
• Ensure issues are resolved either by yourself, or through proper escalation methods.
• Perform maintenance on IS systems, to verify programs function according to user requirements and established guidelines.

How do you qualify?
• 2-3 years’ work experience providing application support.
• 1+ years’ experience in technical support (help desk or deskside support).
• Experience with one or more ticketing systems.
• Fundamental understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with system integration concepts.
• Familiarity with testing regimen and the SDLC.
• Outstanding customer service skills: able to work professionally with end users with varying levels of computer competency.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What additional experience do you bring?
• Previous experience providing end user support or testing software.
• Familiarity with a production and manufacturing environment.
• Experience with the TAS, SAP or other ERP applications.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience supporting system integrations.
• Experience using SQL for issue investigation purposes.
