Are you a Procurement/ Inventory control Manager looking for a challenging position with high visibility and large impact on the company success?
Do you have experience with electronic components such as cellular phone, components and accessories?

What will you be doing in this role?
Our client is a company providing full service in distribution, inventory control, repair, and warranty for wireless products in Markham. Working on the Device Protection Supply Chain team, the person will managing the Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment process, which primarily includes creation of demand forecasts by gathering data from a range of data sources, analyzing historical trends, and predicting future trends.

This position requires a close working collaboration with both our clients and our vendor networks to meet or exceed SLAs for in-stock levels, equipment costs, and other important metrics. This is a highly critical and visible position that can have a large impact on the success and profitability of the division.

• Forecast demand using various tools/methods and execute purchasing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with our existing vendors while simultaneously seeking out opportunities with new vendors.
• Build and maintain relationships with our existing clients through regular touch-points and on-site meetings
• Work closely with our Client Operations & Customer Care teams to ensure that any issues are dealt with promptly and expeditiously to ensure the maximum customer satisfaction.
• Create and continuously improve reporting for senior management that clearly shows the results of the program against SLAs and budgets
• Suggest additions to our systems and tools that will enhance both our profitability and our relationships with our clients

What do you bring to the role?

• Master’s Degree / MBA is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant consulting or industry position
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply & demand planning
• Experience with supply & demand planning tools/systems
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably JDE, SAP and/or Great Plains)
• Wireless or Insurance industry experience is a plus
• Analytical and highly detail-oriented
• Ability to handle a quickly changing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Vision, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.

Compensation package

• Salary range $90-100,000 per year based on experience
• 10 -15% Discretionary Bonus
• Benefits + Pension plan
• 4 weeks vacation
