Great permanent position for our client.

Position available in Montréal (QC) Or Georgetown (ON).

The Enterprise Analytics Architect will focus on all technologies and operations related to Business Intelligence (BI)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Transform the strategy into a comprehensive solution roadmap that can be decomposed into manageable components;
• Translate business requirements and concepts into viable long-term information technology solutions;
• Direct interaction and collaboration with business SMEs, preparation and facilitation of customer workshops with the documented outcome;
• Owning all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle including defining solution blueprints, work effort estimates, design, development, testing, deployment, quality, standards etc.;
• Bring innovation to the organization and elaboration of solution architecture;
• Functional design reviews including their adherence to reporting standards;
• Technical design, documentation and the development of components for highly complex solutions;
• Optimization of the BI department operations based on best practices to gain in simplicity, quality and efficiency;
• End to end support of our solutions including troubleshooting and performance tuning;
• Ownership of problem resolution of key incidents reported through our Global Service Desk or via our BI key users;
• Coach and mentor BI Specialist, Sr. Analysts and Analysts.

Supervision
• Works independently and can follow a project plan and can execute on strategy;
• Capable of managing a team;
• Support activities (troubleshoot, enhance, capacity plan, upgrade, migration);
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Software Engineering;
• 10+ years of hands-on project experience with SAP BI-related technologies;
• Functional SAP experience in at least 4 of the following SAP domains (FI, CO, SD, PP, QM, MM, EWM, TM, CRM, MDG, APO, GTS, PM, BPC, LO);
• Strong SAP BW, BPC, BOBJ and Native HANA experience;
• Predictive analysis, Big Data or Data Lake experience a plus;
• Knowledge of self-service visualization or dashboarding tools like SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI a plus;
• Knowledge of SAP BW, BPC, BOBJ and HANA security;
• Strong technical design and hands on data modeling skills;

• Expertise in all areas of BI (architecture, sourcing/acquisition, integration, transformation, presentation);
• Self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and working as an integral part of a team;
• Experience with enterprise estimating tools and delivery methodologies including agile;
• Ability to operate in complex, fast pace project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & language;
• Strong communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills;
• Bilingual - English and French;

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• SAP BW (Extractors, InfoObjects, Composite Providers, ADSOs, Process Chains, BEx, etc.)
• SAP Native HANA, entity-relationship data modeling and HANA Studio;
• SAP BusinessObjects Suite including Analysis for Office and Web Intelligence;
• Microsoft Power BI;
• SAP BPC.
