Our client, is currently looking for an Architectural Technologist. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working on High -Rise projects.


• Liaison with design consultants and drafting of architectural and related drawings for building permit, project tendering and construction purposes.
• Organize consultants' meeting for design stage and minute.

• Prepare elementary architectural and engineering designs and analyses of buildings and building components.

• Support technical tasks related to engineering design and construction procedure.

• Design development based on engineer’s concepts and design guidance.

• Review of construction shop drawings and comments.

•Co-ordinates requirements of projects and undertakes the design and the preparation of drawings, specifications and addendums.

Prepares specifications, tender package, Request For Proposals, Request For Quotations and answering trader's questions, provide bid analysis and prepares report.

• Assists project manager with instructing, directing, providing technical guidance and expertise and give feedback to program staff, contractors and consultants.

• Operating quantity takeoffs, prepare construction cost estimates and project budget.

• Assisting with and preparing contract specifications.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A degree or diploma in architecture or building technology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience.

• Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop and/or Revit.

• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

** Candidates that speak fluent Mandarin will be considered an asset**
