Position: Assembly Operator
Schedule: 12-Hour NIGHT Shift - 7PM to 7AM
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Knowlton, Quebec , Canada
Salary range: $20.70/hour + $2.50/hour NIGHT Premium
Advantages

Responsibilities
The ASSEMBLY OPERATOR main duties are but not limited to:
• Operate and understand basic functions of the majority of the equipment on the assigned production lines;
• Follow, promote and effectively apply current wash and sanitation procedures
• Participate to cleaning, disassembling and reassembling, as well as preventive maintenance and super clean;
• Ensure proper performance of fillers of assigned production lines by performing adjustments and repairs on place (1st responder);
• Perform routine inspections of all pumps and equipments;
• Able to use and explain the shop floor document wash section;
• Work on assigned production lines when fillers are running normally;
• Comply with company policies (eg. safety, dress code, GMP, work instructions, etc.);
• Perform any other related tasks or projects as assigned by immediate supervisors.
Qualifications
• Has a High School diploma or the equivalent;
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required;
• Understands and uses metric and imperial measurements;
• Is able to use a mechanic’s basic tools;
• Has manual dexterity and physical fitness is required;
• Successfully meets the predetermined mechanical aptitude test criteria
• working flexibility and high ability to learn
• high level of initiative and organization;
• excellent communicator and team player;
• Good knowledge of GMPs and microbiological precautions;
• Bilingualism (French and English) an asset.
