    We are looking for a skilled assembler experienced in production assembly, operating machinery, brazing, and welding. Any work experience that demonstrates mechanical aptitude is considered an asset as well.

    This is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking for the security of big business but loves working within a small to medium size team. Lots of opportunities for cross-training in different departments await! And in this company, your supervisors know you by name.

    The shift runs, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is accessible by bus route.

    The pay rate is starting at $19-20 an hour!

    Responsibilities
    What are the duties involved?

    •Assembly of components and subassemblies
    •Operate production line machinery
    • Responsible for quality control
    • Brazing and welding material
    • Gathering parts from a list, and using blueprints to put them together
    •Using basic math skills to measure parts and components
    •Light lifting and prolonged standing
    •Using precision measurement tools

    Qualifications
    What are the requirements?

    • 2-3 years of experience in assembly with mechanical parts
    • Experience in a manufacturing and assembly environment
    • CNC machine operating experience is preferred
    • Welding experience is an asset
    •Two personal references
    •Clear criminal check required (paid for by Randstad)
    • Controlled goods application required (facilitated by Randstad)
