Responsibilities
As an Assistant Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements
- Analyzing and presenting results
- Preparing budgets with the Director of Finance
- Analyzing variances and project follow-ups
- Analyzing and improving processes
- Supervising and developing accounting teams
Qualifications
For this Assistant Controller role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate a strong asset
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting firm or in a financial analyst/controller assistant role
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
