    My client a service center for women in difficulty (poverty, violence, psychological distress, difficulties integrating
    newcomers and urban Aboriginal women, etc.) is looking for an assistant director to join its dynamic team.

    Advantages
    Assistant Director

    - 35 hours / week including 2 days in remote and 3 days on site.
    - Competitive salary offer based on your experience and your
    skills
    - 4 weeks vacation. 10 public holidays plus paid leave
    between December 26 and January 2.
    - 12 days of
    personal leave
    -Group insurance program (drugs, dental and well-
    being) paid 50% by the employer
    -Group RRSP with employer contribution after one year of service

    Responsibilities
    Assistant Director

    -Establish an annual operational plan resulting from the
    strategic orientations of the center and the requirements of donors and highlight the expected results, priorities, activities, timelines, responsible persons, etc.; report to the director on the achievement of targets and progress made and manage follow-up;
    -Ensure the supervision and management of human resources in a
    context of diverse clienteles;
    -Present an annual portrait of clientele needs, including
    a comprehensive analysis of the associated benefits, risks and costs,
    and proposed means of action to respond to them;
    -Prepare and lead Service team meetings;
    - Write administrative documents: minutes, texts for
    newsletters and annual report, memos, etc.;
    -Transmit, to the director, the information necessary for the preparation
    grant applications and accountability reports;
    -Participate in representation activities by presenting the position of the
    center
    -Be on the lookout for government assistance programs and make
    recommendations to the director as to the possibilities foreseen;
    - All other related tasks.

    Qualifications

    -Skills in the management of human, material and
    operations
    -Excellent interpersonal communication
    - Relational and conflict resolution skills
    - Great ability to compromise and work in a team
    - Ability to adapt to change
    - Mobilizing leadership
    -Great sense of integrity, rigor and precision
    - Ability to work under pressure
    - Mastery of the Office Suite and databases
    -Bilingualism.
