We are seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent to join my clients team - a reputable Developer in the Vancouver area. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Assistant Site Superintendent contributes to the success of the company by assisting with site management and maintenance, safety, quality control and deficiency repair on construction and work sites.

Key Accountabilities:

•Monitor trade partners to ensure a safe work environment.
•Responsible for repairs and general deficiencies.
•General maintenance including framing repairs, painting and other tasks as required by Site Superintendent.
•Internal communication with trade partners and general labourers.
•Promote safe work environment and maintain Site Safety Standards and Policies.
•Complete necessary paperwork in timely manner. Complete appropriate checklists, reports and log books as assigned by Site Superintendent or Construction Manager.
•Assist Site Superintendent and Construction Managers as required.

Education & Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•4 years of professional experience in the mixed-use high rise industry.
•Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
•Organized and self-motivated.
•Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well in a team environment.
•Valid Driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation.
