Auto Mechanic

Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: Competitive pay, depending on experience + benefits

Responsibilities
- In charge of performing routine upkeep on vehicles
- Maintains company vehicles, and ensure they are in optimal running conditions
- Maintenance of plant equipment and all on-location equipment, ensuring they are in good running condition
- In charge of providing training to drivers regarding the trucks and all equipment-related processes, and train on the daily maintenance that will be required to be performed by the drivers.
- Assist staff on the road, when breakdowns occur
- Reports status of repairs to Fleet Manager
- Works with management, drivers and ICBC to ensure timely completion of repairs following vehicle accidents


Qualifications
- Required to have completed successfully an Automotive Service Technician Program.
- Clean driving record
- Beneficial to have experience with General Motors
- Experience working with gas and propane vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
