Our client has partnered with Randstad Engineering in the search for an Automation Technician to join their team in Burlington for a 6 month contract!

As an Automation Technician you will be responsible for:

•Maintains and troubleshoots automated electromechanical production equipment through scheduled preventative maintenance, machine setups,
programming and repairs.
•Installs new process equipment.
•Makes modifications and improvements on existing equipment.
•Determines PM requirements on equipment and develop a suitable PM schedule to minimize unscheduled down time.


As a qualified Automation Technician, you meet the following requirements:

•Minimum 1-2 years experience working on automated equipment, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
•Strong manufacturing background, preferably in high volume electronics.
•Experience in light maintenance manufacturing work.
•Experience troubleshooting electromechanical production equipment.
