You will make a great fit if you have a background in janitorial/cleaning/sanitation work.

This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediately
Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday (Thurs & Fri OFF)
Shifts: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Starting wage: $21.50/hr

Previous sanitation experience required
Mechanically inclined an asset for this role - take apart machines to clean

Responsibilities
Responsible for sanitation and the cleanliness of the bakery
General cleaning of the warehouse: dusting, disposing of refuse, mopping, vacuuming
Operating floor cleaners
Complete daily walk around duties
Participate in monthly safety and health inspections and follow-up
Coordinate sanitation duties with production and maintenance team members
Take apart machines to clean and put back together
Perform limited non-sanitation tasks as assigned (moving trays, shipping product, assisting on production line in emergency situations).
Work as a team and cooperate with your fellow team members at all times.
Qualifications
Previous sanitation experience preferred
Able to follow directions and perform work instructions
Repetitive motion required on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting
Ability to work at heights (ladders, high lifts, etc.)
You can meet the physical requirements; lifting up to 50 pounds
You have steel toed shoes
You can meet schedule and shift requirements
You are legally entitled to work in British Columbia, Canada
This facility is Covid-19 vaccine mandated, the ideal candidate will need to meet this requirement
