    The purpose of the Production Worker is to assist the Production Associate by providing support in the process . Be able to follow recipes accurately and in volume, including measurement and weighing of ingredient. Communicate effectively, and work effectively in teams.

    You will be a great fit if you are a friendly and hardworking team player who is eager to take on new challenges! This role is physically demanding as you will be working in a fast-paced environment. You have a “can-do” attitude and are a quick learner who can adapt to work procedures and operational needs with high attention to detail.

    This position is currently open for people living in Richmond, BC. or are able to travel to Richmond.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to increase their knowledge, learn techniques and gain experience in bakery production.

    We are looking for motivated and dedicated individuals who can start immediately!





    Advantages

    Responsibilities
    -Perform various tasks in production area and conduct general duties involving physical handling of product, materials and supplies.
    -Scale all ingredients according to recipes.
    -Cut, weigh, mold, shape and handle raw dough.
    -Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence.
    -Operate water meter, monitoring amount and temperature.
    -Communicate with leader and follow all instructions, procedures and tasks



    Qualifications
    -Previous baking/food production experience is an asset.
    -Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
    -Strong communication and math skills.
    -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    -Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    -Willing to work overtime as required.
    -Steel toes required
