Band Saw Operator

Location: Near the airport, NOT bus accessible

This is a PERMANENT ROLE

Rate: 20 – 22/hr.

Shift: Days from 8 am – 4:30 pm – Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
Operating the Band saw
Measuring raw materials and cutting this based on the requirements of the client
Meticulously handling the material and ensuring it is properly tagged and reported
Following the diagrams and reports provided and inputting the correct information
Measuring and cutting material with precision and accuracy
Prepare proper documentation needed
Stocking supplied and material in their proper aisles while tagging each

Qualifications
Must be proficient with Measuring tools and equipment
Experience using a band saw or any machine is a definite asset
Attention to detail, focused and organized
Must be able to work independently or with a team
Must be a fantastic problem solver and decision maker
Open to working In a multi-faceted environment
Must have experience in assembly or production
Must be comfortable with documentation and reporting
