My client an established and prominent player in their industry is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their team in Surrey, BC. They have been an established company for over 70 years. Their extensive operations span across BC and the US. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with all relevant legislation for their non union employees.

Responsibilities
Seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll and benefits administration for up to 300 employees.
- Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now.
- Maintain the ADP system including new hires, deductions, benefits, terminations, rate changes, and all payroll-related changes.
- Review and verify individual timecards for accuracy, resolve discrepancies with supervisors.
- Troubleshoot and support workers in understanding benefits, pay statements, & resetting passwords.
- Fill out forms and assist employees and supervisors with their needs.
- Process retroactive payments and other payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and issue Records of Employment (ROE).
- Prepare year-end processing and reconcile T4 slips and/or T4A slips.
- Accurately process and reconcile annual vacation payouts.
- Prepare and issue employment verification letters.
- Complete WorkSafeBC wage-loss documentation.
- Administer remittance for CRA, garnishees, etc.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now
- Experience in full-cycle payroll and
- Experience in benefits administration
- Knowledge of payroll best practices and legislative requirements, including the B.C. Employment Standards Act.
- Canadian Payroll Association certification / Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or relevant work experience
- Must have reliable Transportation
