Responsibilities
Responsible for detailed technical design and development of specifications and applications
according to business units requirements.
Work closely with business to understand objectives, recommend solutions and/or alternatives
and translate them into specific logic.
Extract and Transform data using SQL/ Hive/ Pyspark to create VDS tables.
Design visualizations using Tableau.
Qualifications
SQL 3+ yrs
Python 3+ yrs
Ability to demonstrate sound business/process understanding
Resume lists/mention Python and SQL extensively in their resumes and used both SQL and
Python in the last 3 years
Work experience/role titles include "data analyst", "BI developer", "analytics consultant" etc.
Experience with SQL and Python is essential.
Extensive knowledge of business functions.
Experience with project management methodology.
Excellent analytical skills and very strong relationship management skills.
Strong writing and presentation skills
NICE TO HAVE
Previous banking company exp./ banking exp.
Pyspark
VBA Macro
Experience in big data environment (Hadoop/Spark) an asset.
Data/Analytics experience, with Financial Services industry or regulatory projects across any
industry
