Responsibilities
Bilingual Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Mandarin and English-speaking clients, partners, and internal staff, handling correspondence, phone calls, and in-person inquiries with professionalism.
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the management team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements (if necessary).
Documentation & Translation: Prepare, proofread, and format documents, reports, and presentations. Assist with verbal and written translation between Mandarin and English as required.
Office Management: Maintain an organized filing system (digital and physical), manage office supplies inventory, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain data in various databases and spreadsheets.
Qualifications
Mandarin and English Fluency (Required): Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
Experience: Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar office support role.
Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Work Arrangement: Ability to reliably commute to and work in the Durham Region office 5 days a week (this is not a remote position).
