Do you have previous customer service experience in the insurance industry? Are you able to handle high-pressure situations with a very tight turnaround? Are you bilingual in FRENCH and ENGLISH and looking to gain experience within a banking environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative for a 12-month contract in Downtown Toronto!

HOURS: Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
Pay rate: Pay: $20.45

Job description:
- Provide accurate and professional service to Managing general agents, brokers and policyholders through telephone, mail or e-mail including, but not limited to, the following activities:
- Answering client/broker inquiries & provide accurate information about BMO Life Assurance products
- Requesting information from internal departments to ensure the accurate and timely production of related information for policyholders/brokers.
- Responding to policy information requests from beneficiaries and follow established protocols.
- Performing administrative duties
- Managing time-sensitive financial transactions
- Responding to and resolving client issues and escalating, if required.
- Process client service requests according to established guidelines
- Follow established procedures in all communications with clients – by phone, e-mail or written – to ensure that compliance requirements are met for all scenarios
- Enter and maintain computer records on all systems to ensure accuracy of client information

Qualifications
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bilingualism is a must, Strong written communication skills in FRENCH and ENGLISH
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service focus
- Able to multi-task
- Able to handle high-pressure situations with a very tight turnaround
- Organization skills


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma
- University/College graduates preferred
- LOMA (LOMA 1 and 2) would be a bonus

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Working knowledge of insurance products and channels
- 1-2 years' experience in Life Insurance
