Do you have a strong background in accounting/benefits and interested in getting experience in the insurance industry (particularly in disability group benefits)? If so, our client, one of Canada's largest insurance companies, is looking for a Bilingual Disability Calculation Analyst.

As a Disability Calculation Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the disability team with the following:
* Calculating applicable rehabilitation offset to STD benefits.
* Interpreting the group policy to determine whether an offset is a direct or indirect offset to the STD benefit
* Calculating STD benefit overpayments, negotiating repayment schedules directly with Plan Members, and ensuring overpayments are being recovered
* Liaising with STD Case Managers on the status of the offsets and overpayments for their assigned claims

Qualifications
If you have the following attributes you would be the ideal candidate for the Bilingual Calculation Analyst role:
* Bilingual (English/French) required
* You have experience with accounting, finance, payroll, bookkeeping, and/or benefits payment
* Must be good with numbers
* Administrative/clerical experience an asset
* Post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce or Finance is an asset
* Proficient with MS Office
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology is an asset

*Must have reliable access to internet to work from home
