Responsibilities
As the Bilingual French Collections Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Daily collections calls and communication with customers to obtain payments while maintaining accurate documentation of collection activities
- Process and reconcile accounts receivable and remittances (which include credit card payments)
- Liaise with multiple departments regarding credit and collection issues
- Provide customers with documentation as requested
- Process credit applications for new and existing customers
- Maintain company values, visions and goals throughout each interaction
- Meet deadlines and objectives as set out by the organization
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years experience directly related to credit and collections within a service based industry
- Solid understanding of the credit and collections process
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) with the ability to manage difficult conversations
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, specifically excel
- Bilingual French is an asset
- JDE experience is a strong asset
- Organized, excellent time management with the ability to adjust priorities as needed and achieve results
- Team player with a great attitude
